I know I’m a minute late and a dollar short with this Fashion Week post, but your girl has been busy. I did make it to the Samantha Black show. It was the "who’s who" among young black celebs. There were so many famous faces at the show. I was able to snap a few pictures of some of the celebs in attendance.
ANTM winner Jaslene Gonzalez was in there. None of the pictures I shot were very flattering. I guess pics do tell a thousand words.
She is super skinny!!! My goodness.
Basket Ball Wives reality star Meeka Claxton was in the building too. She was just posing away on the red carpet. I’m thinking about changing my hair color and I’m digging her color. Do you think I can pull this color off?
Entertainment Mogul Kevin Liles sauntered in after the show. He is so handsome to me. He has done an excellent job at keeping his weight off over the years. I heard his book is a must read for those that are interested in going into the entertainment field.
Omarion was seated front row in a very dapper ensemble. He looked very put together. His look channeled Fonzworth Bentley. I can get used to the grown and sexy Omarion.

I wasn’t familiar with the designer Samantha Black, but I had to go the show once I got wind that Solange Knowles was a confirmed guest. I’m a huge Solange fan. I admire her for going against the machine and being an individual. And her hair is fabulous!! I need to figure out where I can buy some like it.
Although I was enamored with all of the celebs, I did manage to shoot some pictures of the actual fashions.
All of the items in the collection were ready to wear. There wasn’t anything too avant-garde. One could wear all of the looks off the runway without any adjustments.
Samantha Black posed on the red carpet after the show. Love & Hip Hop cast member Emily B accompanied Samantha as she walked the runway after the show to take a bow. So I’m guessing that she styled Samantha’s show.
I really enjoyed the show. Much of Samantha’s clothing were cute and wearable. I will keep you posted where you can purchase her line.
