I went a little crazy last week and bought some makeup that I probably don’t even know how to use.  I ended up getting a couple of blue shadows and liners.  I’m a little obsessed with blue right now.  Plus it’s my favorite color in the whole wide world.  I’m going to have to research some YouTube videos for some application techniques.  Quiet as kept, I probably should have watched the videos first and then bought the makeup.  A little backwards, perhaps.

NYX Makeup Haul

I found a hidden gem that sells the complete line of NYX Cosmetics.  I was actually online the night before with my shopping cart full,  ready to click purchase but decided against it.  I think I didn’t want to pay for shipping.  The money I would have used for shipping could have gone to another eye shadow palette.  I’m really funny when it comes to paying for shipping.  I only will do it if it’s absolutely necessary.  Besides, most online retailers offer free shipping anyway.

If you aren’t familiar with NYX Cosmetics, get familiar.  It is an excellent line.  The makeup is reasonably priced with a variety of products.  It’s similar to MAC Cosmetics.  Well, maybe MAC’s cousin twice removed.  You can find many shades similar to Mac but at a fraction of the price.  The pigments are almost as vibrant.

I also moseyed on over to MAC that day to find some nude lipsticks, blush and bronzers.  I settled on the above selection.  I have been rocking my colors all week.  I’m using the eyeshadow I purchased as a blush.  It’s an orange color that totally compliments my skin and gives me a sun kissed look.  I’m in love.
