Yesterday I woke up super early to attend the C. Wonder sample sale press preview. To be honest, I didn’t have any intentions on attending since it started at 8am and I knew I would be out late the night before at EBONY Power 100. But for some reason my body woke me up at 6:30am so I figured why not. I convinced myself to get up and head to the sale. I ended up being the first in line. I have never been first to anything before. I never get to places on time.
This sale ended up being one of the better sample sales I have been to (and I’ve been to plenty). You know it’s real when you use your banking app on your phone to finagle funds around so you can buy more than what was in your budget. I personally have only purchased one thing from C. Wonder in the past. It was a leather tote for work and I LOVE it. The leather is super soft.
The prices for the sale were pretty reasonable. The handbags were $45. The shoes were $50. The woven shirts were $40. Check out the pictures for prices of other merchandise.
I ended up taking home a couple pairs of shoes, woven shirts and a handbag from the sale. If you are in NYC, you should try and check it out.
