I have lived in Harlem for a little over a year now and I am always excited to find new spots within walking distance from my apartment. Last Thursday I had the privelige to attend a private launch event for Chocolat. The space was very cool and chic. You were greeted at the door with your choice of wine or specialty drink. Complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were served throughout the event. I thought that was a nice touch. The music was nice and smooth. It was a nice crowd too. My girl at Uptown Flavor did a more in depth review of Chocolat. I wore my Tucker for Target dress that I purchased for $9.99 with an additional 10% knocked off the price because the belt was missing. I’m a sucker for a bargain. It needs to be hemmed and I’m going to add pockets soon.
