View from airplane heading to L.A.
I can’t believe I went a whole week without blogging. I had planned on writing during my trip. I really did, but time got away from me. I should have planned properly. Oh well. Maybe next time. Any who, I took a trip to Los Angeles last weekend. The original plan was to go to Las Vegas for MAGIC, but I decided to take a detour and go to L.A. first. I figured since I was headed out west anyway, it was a great opportunity to see family and friends in California. That’s just how I am. Whenever I am in another state, I make every effort to see my friends and family that may be living in that state. That’s just how I roll. And I call them and give them ample time to prepare for my arrival!!
As soon as I landed I was whisked from the airport to a benefit concert put on by Will.I.Am. I had to change in the airport and go from this….

I think I cleaned up pretty nicely, considering! The concert was for Will.I.Am I.Am Angel Foundation for needy students. The concert featured performances from Stevie Wonder, Ne-Yo along with others at the Hollywood Palladium. And of course the Black Eyed Peas performed too. Fergie was not at the concert but a singer named Coco Lee filled in. All I have to say is that Fergie better watch her back because Cocoa sounded great.
It’s good to know folks in high places because we sat in VIP all night. We had better seats than Ne-Yo. No…we really did. I’m thinking he declined VIP to mingle with the common folk. It was interesting to see the groupies ladies trying to get close to him.

Will.I.Am. performed his song with J-Lo he did at one of the last award shows. I’m so glad he got another use out of that costume with the iPads.
