So they say the key to this blogging thing is consistency. And if you have noticed, I haven’t blogged in over a week. Which is pretty normal around these parts. Sometimes I dip in and sometimes I dip out for a period. Often it’s because work is hectic or maybe there isn’t really anything going on in my life to talk about.
But to be honest, I have been busy, busy, busy. So I actually have a lot to write about. I have been working hard interviewing some of your favorite celebs for my day gig as well as this blog. I’m working on getting better at this blogging thing but I have never been a creature of habit.

I love having this blog because it’s my outlet. It is my way of expressing my feelings and telling you about the crazy things that happen in my life. And of course something crazy is always happening to me. Take yesterday, some dude practically ran me over to get a seat on the train. I wanted to ask him where did he learn his manners. I mean, how rude?! Some of these men in NYC only care about themselves. Dude was younger than me and could have stood for a bit. And the funny thing is that this same type of dude will try to holler at you while you are holding on to the pole, trying to balance yourself and he is still seated. No, sir. This is just an example of how he would conduct himself in a relationship. As my mama always says, “I can do BAD all by myself.”
For those of you that are bloggers, how do you stay consistent at this blogging game?

I agree! I thought I was the only one that got stuck every once in awhile. I would like to know as well!
I get stuck all the time! Goodness.
Loving the NYC backdrop and your twist out.
Hopefully, my blog redesign will be finished soon. O_o
When I committed to every other day, I was so much more consistent. Everyday is just tough for me. I’d prefer to have interesting content than the same stuff on other blogs.
Your pics are really bating me to make NYC the next city on my list of homes.
Hey Toya! I love your pics 🙂 That rude guy on the train is a topic in itself! Build upon that as far as people lacking manners or if they still have manners, where have they gone, etc. That would build some great dialogue between you and your readers.
The men in NYC are something else. I don’t have any trouble coming up with topics. I keep getting sidetracked with life. But I’m working on changing that. Thanks for stopping by the blog.
Regina – Thank you for the compliments. I’m trying to stay consistent but sometimes life keeps me busy. You should come to NYC. Even if it’s just for a visit.
hey Toya! Welcome back! We all get stuck girl. I got sick a couple weeks ago BAD, and didn’t blog for almost 2 weeks so it happens. I think having posts ready or ideas for posts helps when you need to put something up. It does get hard when work + life happen though. Love the look you have on the blog today!
Thank you Kimberly for the lovely compliment. I need learn not to stress when I don’t get to blog but still keep it consistent.
I have started posting more, but that’s because I have 2 blogs now.lol
But just post on your own schedule, don’t compare yourself to others. You have no idea what they have to do, or what they don’t do.
I like your blog just how it is.

I have two blogs as well. And I’m embarrassed that I haven’t updated it in a while. It’s actually more work than this one. Thanks for stopping by!
I’m still learning…lol. I try and blog twice a week…and sometimes. That never happens. I’m a new reader and I think your blog is great 🙂
