Day 2 in L.A. was very low key. I started the day hiking Runyon Canyon. It was only my second time hiking Runyon. The 1st time was extremely hard. I really thought I wasn’t going to make it. But I will say the 2nd time was a teeny weeny bit easier. Just a little bit.
Afterward, I met up with my cousin for lunch at Chin Chin. It’s one of her favorite spots to eat in L.A. I’m not a real fan of Chinese food so I wasn’t too excited about it. Especially since I was famished from hiking 3 miles. When you are hungry you want something that you know is going to quench your hunger. And for me…Chinese food is not it. It’s not fulfilling for me. Although I just ordered an appetizer, It wasn’t too bad. In fact, I even ordered another one. (I told you I was famished.)
After lunch we had a little photo shoot outside of Chin Chin. I wore my hair in a chunky twist out which started to swell in the Los Angeles heat. It didn’t bother me none because I love Texas size hair.
