I love the store Dillard’s. There isn’t one in NYC, nor is there one in my home state of Michigan. The nearest Dillard’s is located in Ohio where my mom and I would take day trips to go shopping when I lived in Michigan. So I have been a fan ever since. On my way to my recent cruise trip, we stayed in Florida overnight and I was able to shop at the local Dillard’s. I picked up these really cute black suede pumps that had the perfect heel height. Not too short. Not too high. A girl needs to be able to walk around the city and not look like my feet hurt or I can’t walk in heels. I’m not a fan of ridiculously high shoes for my NYC life. I’m not trying to look crazy climbing the subway stairs. Sure, if I still lived in the Motor City where you drive everywhere, I would be completely down. But I don’t.
I say all that to say that I have been in love with my black pumps ever since I purchased them. I was able to dance all night in them without any pain or discomfort. I knew they came in other colors and wanted to add another pair to my shoe wardrobe since they are so comfy. I have been stalking them for the last two weeks via Huckster waiting for them to go on sale. And they did! So I added these puppies to my shoe collection.

And while I was browsing their shoes online, I also bought these cute leopard pumps.

A girl can always use a red pump (even if it’s suede) and leopard pump (even if it’s pony hair) in their wardrobe.
Are you a fan of really high heels? What is your favorite heel height?

I love both pair. Nice picks and thanks for the Hukkster tip I never heard of that but getting ready to sign up to start stalking my next pair of shoes…:)
Do it! They will send you an email once your item changes prices.
I’m not a fan of high heels… at least not on me! They are difficult to walk (or run, if necessary) in and they can cause foot damage that leads to ugly feet.
The highest I’ll go is about 3″ and that’s only for a special occasion. I keep my heels low or flat because I work on a university campus and I walk often for meetings or even just to get to my parking lot. I feel safer and more comfortable in stylish low heels and flats.
Yes! There is safety in wearing a lower heel. I think a lady can still look polished in a shorter heel.
I love Antonio Melani, they are one ofmy fave Dillard’s brand also love Gianni Bini. You made two great choices and I always buy duplicates, when you find something you love you have to get it in all colors!!!! Great post, from a fellow BLM girl.
Thanks for stopping by. I learned that Antonio Melani was one of their brands when I visited the Florida location. I hope they never change their fit model because their shoes fit me like a glove.
Love those red heels! I prefer a heel about 2-3 inches high. I can’t do the sky high heels. LOL!
