Last weekend I attended the One of a Kind Show and Sale NY. I have never heard of the show before, but received complimentary tickets through Etsy and decided to check it out. The show featured handmade collections from artists and artisans across North America.
The pieces displayed ranged from accessories to furniture. I really liked how all of the items for sale were handmade and the designers were there to talk about their collections. You were able to shop from them directly. There was even a DIY workshop from Etsy where you could make Christmas Ornaments.
I wasn’t planning on spending any money, but there was one shop that really stood out. I’m a sucker for earrings…especially unique ones. I stopped by the Designs By Alicia P. booth and was in awe of her accessories and paintings. They were beautiful. Alicia Piller is the owner, designer and artist. I ended up purchasing a pair of earrings. I can’t wait to wear them.
The One of a Kind Show and Sale NY is running this weekend from November 18 – 21. Also, the ticket I used last weekend for the show is good for this weekend too. I may have to check it out again since there will be some new vendors at the show.
