I absolutely love our President. I’ve never campaigned so hard for any political candidate in my life. From donating money to his campaign, to going to several of his rallies to see him speak, to knocking on doors in Bucks County, PA to get support for his presidency. This man can do no wrong in my book. It must be hard to run a country where you are blamed for EVERYTHING. “My husband left me.” It’s President Obama’s fault. “It rained today.” It’s President Obama’s fault. “I have a cold.” It’s President Obama’s fault. Even with all the stress he remains cool and collected. I’m sure you have seen how his hair has gone gray over the years. Even with a congress full of racists, he has been able to get ish done.
Last week President Obama came to Detroit to tour the Detroit Auto Show and speak with the UAW. Let me tell you how the planets were aligned for me to see this man. Did I mention this is my 3rd time hearing him speak? The building where he spoke happened to be within walking distance right behind my job. I couldn’t have planned it better.
I’m going to cry for days when his term is over. He doesn’t get the credit that is due to him. He is hands down one of the best presidents that the United States has ever had. I’m going to miss him and I’m dreading who will replace him. I’m not excited about any of the candidates. Is it too late for someone else to throw their hat in the ring? Oprah? Kanye? Anyone????

He is MY President too and I have also been a loyal supporter thru bi-weekly donations from day one. But I know that he will earn big bucks in his post-presidential life and his Legacy is off the charts. So, I am Ok with him leaving the white house with such swagger and I’m sure we will read the books to come and maybe even a movie or two. . . .Thank you Mr. President. . . .de buoy is Sweet!!!
