The news of ex-Haiti dictator Jean-Claude ‘Baby Doc’ Duvalier passing away reminded me that I never posted about my trip to Port-Au-Prince. A few months ago I had the pleasure of going on a press trip to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti with JetBlue to deliver food and supplies. A mission that JetBlue has been doing since the earthquakes a few years back. I was so honored to have been selected to go. It was one of those once in a lifetime trips where I couldn’t say no. Haiti was never on my bucket list of places to visit but I am so glad I went. While in Port-Au-Prince, I was able to visit a school, orphanage and a village.
I took some of the most amazing pictures ever but sadly I lost my SD card at the airport on my way back to the states. I was so heartbroken. Which is probably why I never wrote about it. The below pictures are what I had from downloading to my iPad.

Going a mission trip is on my bucket list. I enjoy giving back. Also, I think it’s great the JetBlue has continued to giveback to Haiti and help improved the lives of their residents.
