If you have been following me from the beginning, then you know I started this site mostly blogging about great steals and deals. During that time i was a lady of leisure and had time on my hands to do the research. Not so much anymore. So the site has shifted over to a lifestyle blog where I can write about anything my heart desires.
Every so often I will come across a deal that I absolutely have to tell you about. For those of you in the NYC area and just in time for NYFW, new ride sharing app, Gett, is offering UNLIMITED $10 flat rides to anywhere in the city for the rest of the year. Whaaaa??!! You mean I can get a ride from Soho to Harlem for $10 bones? That’s more of steal than a deal! You can’t beat that if you tried.
This is perfect for me since Uber has locked me out of my account because they are saying I have been using fraudulent coupon codes for that one time I used them. Nothing but lies. So I have been looking for an alternative for when those yellow cabs want to discriminate and not take me to Harlem. If you live in NYC, you know the deal. They lock their doors, roll down their window and ask you where you are going. When you say Harlem or Brooklyn, they zoom off nearly running over your toes in the process. Totally illegal. They have to take you wherever you want to go regardless of the location.
But the Gett app sounds like a game changer. How is Uber going to top that?
