It has been a crazy two weeks. Time has flown by since I last wrote on this blog. I’ve been busy with work, biking and I started tennis lessons. I’ve also been so exhausted after work that when I come home I fall asleep. And then I find myself waking up in the middle of the night. It’s starting to mess up my daily routine. I need to figure this out. A few years ago I was diagnosed with EDS (which is a form of Narcolepsy) and was prescribed medicine. But I’m not too into western medicine and took myself off of them. I’ve just learned to deal with it. But for some reason it’s been a little tough the last couple of weeks. Hopefully my exhaustion will subside a little bit. It’s one of those things that I will have for the rest of my life but man, I wish I had one day where I wasn’t tired. I could get 8+ hours of sleep and still feel like I haven’t slept. It’s not fun but it is what it is.
Well enough of the sob story. Last weekend I went to downtown Auburn Hills and took some really cool pictures with a new photographer. I take the most amazing photos of people but when it comes time to have my picture taken folks don’t take the time and care to do the same. It’s annoying and I end up looking a mess. I was lucky enough to find Karen of K Stevens Photography and she is the BOMB DOT COM. I gave her an idea and samples of what I wanted. She came through and exceeded my expectations. I see this being a wonderful relationship. I’m excited to see us collaborate on more shoots.
I wore Forever 21 Distressed Boyfriend Jeans. These jeans fit wonderful. I’ve been wanting boyfriend jeans forever but didn’t think they would look right on me since I have hips and thighs. But they worked and now I want another pair. I paired it with a black Forever 21 High-Slit Longline Vest and Forever 21 Basic Tee. (Is there a theme going on here?) I completed the outfit with these super cute yellow pumps I bought from Sole Society. I wanted them a long time ago and they were all sold out. I was able to get them when they replenished for the second time. They are super comfortable and easy to walk in.
