I know this is almost a week overdue but I had to post about how much fun I had on Memorial Day. I got to spend it with two of my girlfriends who are ironically from Michigan but I met them both here in NYC. I didn’t know even know them in Michigan. It’s good to know that I have peeps that I can spend the holidays with when I’m not able to go back home. I spent the day on a Brooklyn rooftop enjoying friends, good conversations and an amazing view of NYC.
Remember when I posted that I purchased white jeans from Old Navy? This was my first time wearing white denim in my adult life. I think Old Navy’s Rockstar denim fit me like a glove. I bought a regular and a petite length. I’m preferring the petite length. I wasn’t sure what to pair my jeans with so I chose this denim shirt and accessorized with silver shoes and jewelry. I will be stalking Pinterest for outfit ideas. If you have any suggestions, leave them below.
