The last leg of my West Coast trip included meeting up with my parents in Las Vegas. We stayed at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel. I stayed at this hotel the last time I came to Vegas and have grown to love it. I hope to visit the real Paris one day, but until that comes to fruition I will settle on my mini Paris in Vegas. I actually get to brush up on the language because everything is in French. One morning we had breakfast at Le Cafe Ile St. Louis and in keeping with my Paris theme I had delicious French Toast. The highlight of my trip was meeting up with my first love. It was good to see him. We haven’t dated in over 15 years but we have remained in contact. I think my parents enjoyed seeing him too. They adore him. Of course my mother was trying to play matchmaker since we are both still single. You have to love parents. At least they have my back.
