Yesterday I got to celebrate the reunion of Goodie Mob after a 14 year hiatus. It was an exclusive performance at JFK Airport in the JetBlue terminal. I mean literally smack dab in the middle of gate C29 and C30. Not sure if those were the actual gate numbers but you get my drift. A group of bloggers, media professionals and influencers were invited onto the ‘Goodie bus’ that took us from Union Square in Manhattan to JFK. Let’s just say it was ‘Soul Plane’ experience on a bus. It was all the way live.

The Goodie Mob concert was the first hip hop performance of the JetBlue’s Live From T5 Concert series. CeeLo Green joined the rest of the Goodie Mob group members Big Gipp, Khujo and T-Mo. They performed some old classics as well as songs off their new album “Age Against the Machine“.  I even screamed “Encore” and got the rest of the crowd to join in. I’m silly like that. The concert took me back and I had a ball. What’s your favorite Goodie Mob song? Below is mine. I can’t get it out of my head now.

I also got to meet radio personality Angela Yee at the event. Side note: I hate when people don’t know how to take good pictures. I always complain to my mother and she tells me not to get upset because people don’t have the same talents as me. But seriously, when someone asks me to take a picture I make sure that they are in focus and look half way decent. This picture is so blurry and it was the best one out of two. I don’t know. It’s a little photography pet peeve of mine.
