I have been out every night this week and I am exhausted. My good friend Deniece is in town and I have been playing host too which has added to my exhaustion. She has been here for two weeks and has split her time staying with a few of her friends. So last night, myself and the rest of her hosts met up at The DL in the Village for a send off before she goes back home.

There was a party and live art show going on that night where artists painted tributes to the 90s Yo! MTV Raps. I’m not sure if it was the 90s music that was being played or looking at the art but I started to feel really nostalgic. Or maybe it was because I really enjoyed the 90s and it brought back so many pleasant memories.

The live art party was put on by Collage. I spoke with the promoter for a bit and he mentioned that they throw these parties often and it’s always a different theme. This particular night was Yo! MTV Raps.

I was sort of feeling my twist-out that night. My color has grown out so much but I’m still torn with whether or not to dye it again.
